Abstract
A flashlight () including: a housing () with a light source (), a power source (), and an aperture () through the housing () that is closed by a resilient cover (). The resilient cover () extends over a switch assembly () and provides a waterproof seal for the housing (). An indicator means (), when illuminated, is visible through the resilient cover (). A waterproof flashlight () having an electric contact () extending through a contact aperture () formed in the housing () with resilient sealing means () between to establish a water tight seal. A securement means () to place the resilient means () under compression. When not in use, the flashlight () may be stowed on a base () for recharging through the electrical contact ().
