Abstract
A method for making pods () for products for infusion comprises the steps of: feeding a first portion () of filter material; making a compressed disk () of product, the disk being equivalent to a single dose of the product, at respective dosing and forming stations (); placing the compressed disk () on the first portion () of filter material; and superimposing a second portion () of filter material over the first portion () of filter material with the compressed disk () on it in such a way as to form the pod (). The invention also relates to an apparatus that embodies this method.
