Abstract
A rear side sash componentof a sash is composed of an inner paneland an outer panel. The inner panelis press-formed to have a raised partbulging toward the vehicle interior. The amount of projection of the raised partis increased with approach to its lower end. The outer panelis press-formed to have a flat partthe lateral dimension of which is increased with approach to its lower end. The inner and outer panelsandare joined together to provide a rear side sash componentincreasing its cross-sectional size with approach to its lower end.
