Abstract
The invention relates to a high pressure discharge lamp intended for use in assimilation lighting. According to the invention the high-pressure discharge lamp has a discharge vessel, which besides a buffer gas, comprises substantially LiI as metal halide or a mixture of LiI and NaI.
