Abstract

Disclosed are transgenic plants, seeds, and progeny from such plants comprising novel nucleic acid sequences encoding both CryET33 and CryET34 crystal proteins. The novel nucleic acid sequences comprise SEQ ID NO:11. CryET33 and CryET34 crystal proteins comprise SEQ ID NO:3 and SEQ ID NO:4 and exhibit insecticidal activity against coleopteran insects including red flour beetle larvae () and Japanese beetle larvae ().
