Abstract

The present invention relates to a novel compound and use thereof, in particular to Antroquinonol B and Antroquinonol C isolated fromextracts which can effectively inhibit the growth of cancer cells. The compounds fromare first reported, which can be applied not only in inhibiting growth of breast cancer, lung cancer, hepatic cancer and prostate cancer, but also in anti-cancer medicinal compositions for the abovementioned cancer cells.
