Abstract

The present invention relates to novel, soluble, recombinant RANKL (Receptor Activator of Nuclear Factor—κB Ligand) variant proteins which may be expressed solubly in, variants that have substantially reduced binding to OPG, variants that act as RANKL antagonists, and methods for generating the same.
