Abstract
An inkjet printer having: recording headincluding a plurality of nozzles; defective nozzle detection meansfor detecting a defective nozzle from which ink droplets are not ejected for each of the of aforesaid recording head; a determination means for determining a level of a defective nozzle occurrence situation that is detected by aforesaid defective nozzle detection means; and an operation control means for controlling the execution of operations of a printer based on the determination result in aforesaid determination means.
