Abstract

The invention relates to a heating device for motor vehicles with an internal combustion engine and a coolant circuit. The heating device () comprises a heat-generation compartment () with a cooling jacket () around which a coolant flows, and a rotor () mounted on a drive shaft (). The cooling jacket () is part of a cooling chamber () that comprises a coolant inlet () and a coolant outlet (). A pump wheel () is disposed in the cooling compartment (), is driven by the drive shaft () and circulates the coolant.
