For a trigger safety devicefor firearms comprising a triggerwhich is adapted for rotary reciprocation about a fulcrumand whose free end is protected by a trigger guard, accidental firing is prevented in that a safety slideis mounted on the trigger guardfor reciprocal displacement between a first end positionand a second end positionsuch that said triggeris freely pivotal in a first end positionof the safety slideand is blocked in a second end positionof the safety sliderespectively.
