Abstract
The invention provides a laser hardening tool having little laser output loss. The laser hardening toolcondenses the irradiated beams LBfrom a semiconductor laser stackvia a condensing optical lens, and creates parallel light beams LBvia a diverging optical lens. The laser beams LBhaving been bent by a first mirrortravels through an optical waveguidehaving a rectangular cross-sectional shape. The laser beams LBhaving been condensed by a re-condensing optical lensare irradiated through a nozzleto subject a work to hardening. The number of reflections of the laser beams LBin the angular optical waveguideis small, and thus the loss of laser output is reduced.
