Abstract

The installation includes two needling apparatuses () which succeed each other on one side of the path () for the fleece to be needled. The needles () have an 'elliptical' movement, i.e. their reciprocating movement of penetration is combined with a reciprocating movement parallel to the direction of progression. The two mechanisms are actuated at the same speed but with a phase shift of 180° between them. The installation is used for balancing horizontal vibrations.
