Abstract
An audio jack connector () with reliable grounding device includes a dielectric housing () defining an inner receiving space () and a grounding member () mounted on the housing (). The grounding member () includes a base portion () secured on the housing, a mating portion () extending into the inner receiving space (), a terminal portion () for inserting into a print circuit board () and a spring portion () extending beyond the housing for connecting to a metallic panel () of an electrical device.
