Abstract
A high security cylinder lock () and key () combination comprising a cylindrical shell (), a key plug () which is rotatably mounted in the shell (), a longitudinal key slot () in the key plug, and at least one locking tumbler assembly cooperating with a key being inserted into the lock. The locking tumbler assembly comprises a pair of independently movable tumbler segments () which are positionable in different elevational positions in a common cavity.
