The present provides a heat-emitting element cooling apparatus which has a higher heat-emitting efficiency than that of conventional heat-emitting element cooling apparatus. A heat-emitting element cooling apparatusincludes a heat sinkand a fan unit. The heat sinkhas a baseonto which a heat-emitting element is to be mounted, radiation fins of a first type, and radiation fins of a second type. The radiation finsextend from an upper surfaceA in an upward direction. The radiation finsextend from either of two side surfacesB andC in either of rightward and leftward directions. The radiation finsandcontinuously extend in forward and rearward directions respectively.
