Abstract
The invention provides a capacitor element and solid electrolyte capacitor which allow significant increase in electrostatic capacity with the same dimensions and shape, as well as a process for their production. The capacitor elementof the invention is provided with an aluminum basehaving a shape with a plurality of sides, anode sectionspartially formed at the edge regionof at least one side among the plurality of sides in the area on the main surfaceof the aluminum base, cathode sectionscomprising a solid electrolyte layerformed on the aluminum basevia an aluminum oxide filmand a silver paste layerformed on the solid electrolyte layer, which are formed on the remaining regionsfrom the regions on which the anode sectionsare formed, in the area on the main surfaceof the aluminum base, and slitswhich provide electrical insulation between the anode sectionsand cathode sectionsAs a result, the anode sectionsare positioned inward from the outer perimeterof the aluminum baseon which the cathode sectionsare formed, and therefore the area of the capacitor elementmay be increased to approach the area of the external dimensions of the capacitorfabricated using the capacitor element
