A spin-stabilized artillery projectile () with a brake device () for reduction of the longitudinal deviation of the artillery projectile () in a target area () that has a number of impulse elements () distributed around its circumference that are provided to reduce the lateral deviation of the artillery projectile () in the target area () and thus improve the accuracy of aim.
