Abstract

What is disclosed is an apparatus and method for assembling a reconstitution assembly () having a reconstitution device () having a first end connected to a flexible diluent container (), the reconstitution device () having a second end connected to a drug vial (). The reconstitution device () and containers, such as drug vials () or diluent bags (), are loaded onto positioning assemblies () on a conveyor (). The positioning assemblies () are conveyed to sterilization booths (). Sterilization fields are generated within the sterilization booths (), and the containers are sterilely connected to the reconstitution device () within the sterile fields.
