Camera with positioning device used to capture magnified and demagnified images

Abstract

To provide a camera that is suited to shoot both a demagnified image and a magnified image. The camera includes a housing bodycontaining a CCDand a lens barrelAn abutted memberhaving an objective lenstherein is engaged with the lens barreland a rotatable manually-controlled memberis fitted around that lens barrel. The abutted membermoves back and forth in the direction of an optical axis K in response to the rotation of the manually-controlled memberA user moves the objective lensback and forth by moving the abutted memberback and forth to shoot either a demagnified image or a magnified image. A demagnified image is photographed with the abutted membercontained in the lens barrelA magnified image is photographed with the abutted memberprojected from the lens barrelAn end of the abutted memberis positioned so that the focal point of the objective lensfalls on the center thereof. To shoot the magnified image, the user abuts the end of the abutted memberagainst the object.
