Abstract
A combined heating/cooling system and method is provided wherein an absorption tank () houses a refrigerant and absorbant mixture composition. A boiler () heats the high pressure mixture composition and vaporizes the refrigerant. Heated absorbant is passed back through a heat exchanger () to be delivered back into absorption tank () and the vaporized refrigerant is directed to a closed-loop thermal exchange system for selectively heating and cooling ambient air. The refrigerant and absorbant mixture composition is preferably Genosorb® 1843 and HCFC-124.
