Abstract
The present invention provides an improved packaged container containing an ocular perfusion/washing solution, the solution being securely prevented from generating gas bubbles that impede operation when used as an ocular perfusion/washing solution in cataract surgery, etc., and a process for producing the same. In the packaged solution container, the ocular perfusion/washing solution () is contained in a gas-permeable plastic container () which is packaged in a gas-impermeable packaging member (). Between the container () and the packaging member (), there is a space () which has a volume at least 4 times that of the total of the volume of the headspace of the container and the volume of dissolved gas. This space () holds a mixed gas atmosphere comprising carbon dioxide and helium and/or neon.
