Abstract

A buckle is provided with a female memberhaving first and second engaging portionsand, and a male memberhaving first and second engagement piecesand. By inserting the male memberinto the female member, the first engaging portionengages with the first engaging piece, and the second engaging portionengages with the second engaging piece, thereby, female memberand male memberare connected. The male memberand female memberare not separated, unless engagement between first engaging pieceand first engaging portion, as well as engagement between second engaging pieceand second engaging portion, are released by means of both a first operating portionand a second operating portionwhich are separately provided on the front and rear of female memberbeing pressed inwardly.
