Abstract

Disclosed herein are a novel compound isolated fromand a method for isolating the novel compound from. The method comprises: (1) extractingwith alcohol to obtain a crude extract; (2) subjecting thecrude extract to solvent fractionation using an organic solvent; (3) fractionating the solvent fractions by Sephadex column chromatography; and (4) fractionating the Sephadex fractions by silica gel column chromatography.
