Abstract
An apparatus and method for customizing television content uses an application () operating on a computing platform () associated with a display device (). The application () includes a profile database () that stores a viewer profile () and a filter module () that is coupled to the profile database (). The filter module () accesses the viewer profile () and display components () and, in response, selects a preferred display component (') according to the viewer profile () and the display components ().
