Abstract
A method and apparatus for recording data including image data, which includes: a recording unitfor recording image data; a play unitfor playing data including audio data; a release switchfor giving instructions to record image data; and a record and playback control unitfor giving instructions to start recording image data after giving instructions to stop playing data including audio data when a recording of image data is instructed from the release switchwhile data including audio data is being played.
