Abstract
An apparatus and a method for induction heating of pieces or blanks () of electrically conducting and non-magnetic material, wherein a device creates a static magnetic field () and a second device is arranged to cause a relative movement () between the piece or blank () and the static magnetic field (), so that current is induced () in the piece or blank () which thereby is being heated up.
