Abstract
An assembly for mounting various work tools, e.g., a backhoe, to a pair of parallel frame members () of a vehicle (). A pair of parallel main beams () extend transversely across the frame members () and a telescoping stabilizing leg () extends downwardly from each end of each of the main beams (). Four posts () extend from the main beams () for connecting the main beams () at spaced positions along the pair of parallel frame members (). Each of the posts () is L-shaped in cross section with one flange thereof welded to the associated main beam () and the other flange attached to the vehicle () frame members (). A pair of bearing blocks () are disposed on a first leg cross-beam () for pivotally supporting a and a pair of hydraulic cylinder-pistons () are attached to a main cross-beam () for pivoting the backhoe about the bearing blocks ().
