Abstract
An illumination device () for illuminating an examination room () of an imaging medical examination device () has illuminants (), which emit light when energized and can be electrically connected to a power source via connecting means (A,B,A, . . .D), at least two of the illuminants () being connected by means of an electrical supply line () and the electrical supply line () having at least one high frequency filter () for reducing the interaction of the supply line () with a high frequency field.
