Abstract

It is intended to provide a strain capable of producing transglutaminase at a high efficiency; and a process for producing transglutaminase by using this strain. A structural gene fromand a promoter and a terminator acting on this structural gene are externally transferred intoto give a transformant. Transglutaminase is produced by culturing this transformant.
