Abstract
A 3-dimensional computer graphics rendering system receives object data for a scene to be rendered. This includes vertex data and index data. The scene is subdivided into priority of rectangular areas (). Objectof each rectangular area in the scene is assembled () and subsequently compressed (). This data can subsequently be retrieved and decompressed and used for producing a properly shaded and texted image for display.
