Abstract
The invention relates to a process for preparing N-substituted 3β-aminonortropanes of formula I wherein Rhas the meaning given in the claims, from the corresponding 3-oxonortropane or the corresponding 3α-aminonortropane, in which the latter is converted with an arylmethylamine or an arylaldehyde into the corresponding imines which are then tautomerised or isomerised and then hydrolysed. The invention also relates to the new compounds of formula V wherein Rand Ar have the meanings given in the claims.
