The present invention relates to methods for treatment or prevention of neoplasia disorders using protein tyrosine kinase inhibitors of the formula I: wherein R, R, R, R, R, R, and Rare defined herein, in combination with cyclooxygenase inhibitors, in particular cyclooxygenase-2 selective inhibitors.
