Abstract
A card connector has a miniaturized and simplified structure. The card connector has a base frame includes side frames, a connector body provided at one end of the base frame and serving to arrange in a row and fix a plurality of contact pins, a shutter having through orifices corresponding to the plurality of contact pins arranged in a row and fixed by the connector body and can move in a state in which the contact pins are inserted into the through orifices, and a shutter lock formed by a segment lead of at least one side frame of the two side frames of the base frame, which locks the movement of the shutter before the card is inserted and releases the lock and allows the connection of contacts of the card with the contact pins in response to the insertion of a compatible card.
