Abstract
This invention relates to a method for establishing a data link layer connection enabling data communication between a plurality of modules in a system connected to an IC™-bus. The modules may be a mobile communication device such as a cell or mobile telephone, and peripherals such as a functional cover, a camera or the like. In addition, this invention relates to a data package configured according to the IC™ specification and according to a data link layer protocol.
