Abstract
A seal rubberis placed in a first peripheral grooveformed in one main surfaceA of an approximately flat-plate-shaped metal body. A second peripheral grooveand multiple communicating holesto communicate between the second peripheral grooveand the first peripheral grooveare formed in the other main surfaceB of the metal body. A retaining rubberdisposed in the second peripheral groove, the seal rubber, and a bridge rubberdisposed in the communicating holeare integrated. The first peripheral grooveis made to be a dovetail groove, the second peripheral grooveis made to have an inner surface inclined to reduce the groove width from a groove opening side to a groove bottom surface side, and the groove width D-of the groove bottom surface and the inner diameter Dof the communicating holeare made to be substantially the same. As a result, release or breakage of the seal rubber does not occur during opening or closing of the two members, stable seal performance is achieved, and even when a large seal is to be made, the seal rubber can be attached easily.
