Abstract

The invention relates to a bullet for infantry ammunition comprising a bullet core (), a bullet tip (), and a metal case (). The aim of the invention is to create a durable connection between the bullet core () and the metal case (). To this end, the metal case () is a shell, which is open at the front and which is pulled onto the bullet core () from the rear. The bullet tip () projects away from the metal case (), and a constriction () is provided on the bullet core (). The case end () that is open at the front projects into this constriction.
