Abstract
A robotic arm () for use with a pharmaceutical unit of use transport and storage system () comprises a base plate () with a first cam track segment () and a second cam track segment (). A first arm segment () is rotatably attached to the base plate () and a second arm segment () is rotatably attached to the first arm segment () and includes a cam track follower () that engages with the first and second cam track segments () to guide the movement of the second arm segment (). A platform () is secured to an end of the second arm segment () and is adapted to engage a product (). A series of orientation sprockets () and drive chains () cooperate to maintain the platform () rearwardly oriented as the arm () extends from a retracted position to an extended position.
