Abstract
An optical transducerand method for the simultaneous measurement of downhole pressure and temperature in a single- or multi-point configuration including a bodywith an elastic membraneonto which at least one Bragg gratingis attached, and at least an additional Bragg gratingcontained on the same optical fiber. The elastic membraneconveys strain proportional to the pressure and temperature conditions to which is submitted said transducer to at least one Bragg grating, the portion of light not reflected by the Bragg gratingscontinues along the remaining of the optical fiber
