Abstract

A method of manufacturing an electrophoretic display sheet that includes: applying a mixture of a plurality of microcapsules and a binder on a substrate, the substrate having a first contact angle θbetween a reference liquid, each of the microcapsules having a second contact angle θbetween the reference liquid, the binder having a third contact angle θbetween the reference liquid, the θthe θand the θhaving a relationship of θand evaporating the mixture to form an electrophoretic layer on the substrate, the electrophoretic layer including the plurality of the microcapsules.
