Abstract

An electronic organand a personal computerare connected with a MIDI cable. The personal computeris connected to a servervia a communication network. The personal computerdownloads a controlling program from the server. The electronic organis set to be a listening trial mode by an operation of the personal computer. In the listening trial mode, an output of a data in a temporally storage area is prohibited. The serverprovides a first encoded performance data to the personal computer, and the personal computerdecodes the received first encoded performance data. The electronic organgenerates a key, and the personal computersecondary encodes the performance data with the key and transmits it to the electronic organ. The electronic organdeletes the data stored in the temporally storage area after the listening trial.
