Abstract
The invention relates to a flame retardant, comprising (A) a triazine-phenolic resin, (B) a nitrogen-containing compound, and (C) at least one metal compound, wherein said triazine-phenolic resin has formula (I): wherein, m and n are independently an integer ranging from 1 to 10 and R is OH, NH, COOH, SOH, C(O)H, or CHCONH. The invention further relates to flame-retardant resin composition containing the above flame retardant and its use.
