Abstract
A recliner device includes a locking pin (), an operating knob () having a boss portion () and a substantially cylindrical portion () coaxial with the boss portion (), the substantially cylindrical portion () surrounding the locking pin (), a first bracket having notches (-), the locking pin () penetrating the first bracket so as to be axially movable and being releasably engaged with any one of the notches (-), a receiving base () mounted on a second bracket () so as to be opposed to the substantially cylindrical portion (), and cam surfaces () formed on an edge of the substantially cylindrical portion () and an edge of the receiving base () which are opposed to each other, each of the cam surfaces () having a height enough to allow the locking pin to be axially movable, and the locking pin () being adapted to be disengaged from the one of the notches (-) by rotating the operating knob ().
