Abstract
A brush bodyof a metal-graphite brushis composed of a commutator side portionwhich contains graphite, copper and a metal sulfide solid lubricant, and a lead side portionwhich contains graphite and copper but does not contain any metal sulfide solid lubricant. A lead wireis attached to the lead side portioncontaining no metal sulfide solid lubricant.
