Abstract
Simplifying the controller of hybrid type drive unit. The output of a generator driven by engine is connected directly to a motorthrough a converter or switching circuitwithout being charged on any battery. The output of each phase of the generator is inputted to the converter. A timing controllercontrols the conduction phase of a thyristor bridgein the converterso as to adjust the quantity of output power. A synchronous standard for phase control is formed based on output wave of an auxiliary windingof the generator. A voltage detectordetects an applied voltage on the motoras a motor rotation speed and the conduction angle is increased or decreased so as to maintain a detected voltage at a target value.
