Abstract
The invention relates to crystallizable aluminosilicate magnesium-containing glass which is used for producing extremely solid and break-resistant glass-ceramics having an easily polished surface. The inventive crystallizable glass contains 5-33 mass % of SiO, 25-40 mass % of AlO, 5-25 mass % of MgO, 0-15 mass % of BO, 0.1-30 mass % of YO, LnO, AsOand/or NbOand 0.1-10 mass % of PO.
