Abstract

The invention relates to an electroluminescent device comprising a substrate (), a porous layer () that borders on the substrate (), a laminated body that borders on the porous layer () and that is composed of at least a first electrode (), an electroluminescent layer () and a second electrode (), a colored material, preferably an ink, being present at least partially in the pores of the porous layer (). The porous layer () may be segmented and include a plurality of different colored materials, so that a black matrix structure and/or a color filter structure is obtained. The invention also relates to a method of manufacturing an electroluminescent device.
