Abstract
A fitting for a vehicle seat, in particular for a motor vehicle seat, has a first fitting part (), a second fitting part () in geared connection with the first fitting part (), and an eccentric () for driving a rolling movement of the second fitting part () on the first fitting part (). The eccentric is defined by at least one driving ring () and two wedge segments (). The wedge segments () are braced with respect to one another. The driving ring () encloses the wedge segments (). For each of the wedge segments (), the outer side of the wedge segment bears along at least one outer supporting line () against the driving ring ().
