Abstract

An optical systemcollimates wavelength components of wavelengths λ-λemerging from an end face of optical fiber, a diffraction gratingseparates them by wavelength, and an optical systemcondenses them. The component of the wavelength λis focused at a focus position by the optical systemand diverges after the focus position. Then the component of the wavelength λis collimated by an optical system, travels via a diffraction grating, and is condensed by an optical systemto enter an end face of optical fiber. The component of the wavelengths λcondensed by the optical systemare reflected by reflecting portionsset at their respective focus positions, are collimated by the optical system, travel via the diffraction grating, and are condensed by the optical systemto enter an end face of optical fiber.
