An electrostatic discharge protection component of an array type includes ceramic insulating substrate; varistor regionwhich is pasted on ceramic insulating substrateand then is sintered integrally with ceramic insulating substrate; and at least one ground outer electrodeA and a plurality of input/output outer electrodesB. Varistor regionincludes at least one ground inner electrodeA, varistor layerC and the plurality of input/output outer electrodesB so as to form the plurality of varistors. Ground inner electrodeA is connected with ground outer electrodeA. This structure enables the protection component to be extremely thin.
