Abstract
An SRAM cellincludes inverters, N-type FETs, word lines, bit lines, and voltage applying circuits. The voltage applying circuitsapply a voltage Vto the word linesat the time of a read operation of the SRAM cell. The voltage applying circuitsapply a voltage (V+α) to the word linesat the time of a write operation of the SRAM cell. Here, α>0. Namely, the SRAM cellis configured in such a manner that a voltage applied to word linesat the time of the write operation is higher than at the time of the read operation.
